Ken Smith, CTS Miss Tina - the story of the first black salesclerk on Winter Park's Park ave, ernestine "Tina" Manning Ingram, who in 1957 at age 15 Defied the odds

I had the privilege of spending several days with Miss Tina.  She allowed me to bring my camera and I shot several hours of her sharing stories of how she not only defied the odds, but shattered every stereotype of the segregated South that we have come to believe.  In the mid-50s in a segregated country, at age 15 she was the most sought after sales consultant, helping every customer mix and match wardrobes and made more than any other clerk in the store, becoming a friend and inspiration to many of her young co-workers, may of which she is close to now, over 50 years later.  Now, in her mid 80s she is still working, consulting and inspiring.
